Founded by Robin Spicer
RedDot award-winning British design entrepreneur and founder is the Creative Director of Seabiscuit Studio. Spicer started off his career with Armis Sport that he formally founded in 2015 while at Loughborough University. Holding down a full time position as an Industrial Designer at DCA Design International and running Armis full time, Spicer decided to focus solely on Armis. Soon after setting up shop, Spicer found himself completing an acquisition for his business by the world largest polo brand, La Martina in 2018. Spicer continued to run Armis and work alongside La Martina to then become Head of Product at Hexr in 2020. Seabiscuit Studio is independently run by Spicer offering the highest level of design services and comprises of an extensive network of industrial designers, engineers, and manufacturers dedicated to realising clients' projects.
